SUBJECT: Unidentified "Falling" Objects

Unidentified Falling Disks?

Hi,

I live in Kaukauna Wisconsin.

You may think this a little strange but I'm beginning to think this photograph belongs on your site. In the strictest sense an object which remains unidentified and flies is an unidentified flying object, or UFO, correct? But how about unidentified "falling" objects? 

Well, these little disks just started falling from the sky near my house a few months ago. (see attached jpg) It was July 2nd, or 3rd, 2003. I was outside talking to my neighbor when these little metal disks started bouncing off the roof and clanking off of the gutters. 

My neighbor found about ten of these and I found the ones you see in the photograph (note the size compared to the quarter). So far no one has been able to tell us what they are. This is why I say they are unidentified. 

We've already given quite a few of these out to people to "test" and examine etc., but without any answers - and unfortunately no one ever sends them back to us (even though they swear up and down that they will), so please don't ask. (Mine are all gone but for one, and my neighbor only has one or two left as well). 

But please, if you can tell us what these things are, or have seen them before, we are really quite curious. We are already pretty sure they are not aircraft parts.

Dear Billy:

Thank you for sending us the photograph of the ambiguous disks. We have published the picture in our UFO Photo Gallery.

Although you don't want us to ask you for a sample, we would still like to have one for close up examination and analysis. We will tell you that if you can come up with an extra disk between you and your neighbor, please send it to us, as we have qualified contacts from the aerospace (and other) industries that should be able to provide an accurate analysis of the object.

Check your roofs, rain gutters, and the area surrounding your houses. You may be surprised to find several more.
